The significant writing project that I have chosen shows my ability to cite using MLA formatting both in
my work cited and in text citation. The purpose of in text citation is to give credit to the author who is
stating the quote. The in text citation helps to show that the quote is not stated by me. The work cited
page gives the quote more background to where the source is from. The local revision I discovered that
was necessary in this paper were grammatical errors. During my revision, I learned that I have awful
grammar. This was pointed out to me through peer revision and although some mistakes brought about
a few laughs, they were all quickly fixed.
